Lol, they're rifles, mate. Throw those perks on automatic rifles and watch your enemies turn to dust.

Nope, they're not pistols. SMGs are treated as automatic rifles. Easy mistake to make with all those mods and perks to keep track of!

As a dedicated Fallout 76 player, I can tell you from experience that SMGs count as automatic rifles. Just last week, I was experimenting with different builds and noticed a significant damage boost when I applied rifle perks to my SMG setup. So, yeah, focus on those automatic rifle perks!

SMGs in Fallout 76 actually fall under the 'Automatic Rifles' category, so if you're beefing up your perks, focus on those that boost rifles for a nice edge when spraying and praying with your SMG.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
