You only lose access to free games from PS Plus. Anything you bought outright stays in your library.

If your PlayStation Plus subscription expires, you'll temporarily lose access to the free monthly games you claimed. Don't worry, though鈥攊f you renew your subscription, you get them back!

Nope, I didn't lose anything I bought on sale when my PS Plus expired. Only the free games were locked until I resubscribed.
