Nope, you don't need PlayStation Plus to play the single-player mode of Need for Speed. But if you're looking to race against other players online, you'll need that subscription.

Single-player mode doesn't require PS Plus, but for online features, you gotta have it.

Yep, you need PlayStation Plus if you want to play Need for Speed's online multiplayer mode. Single-player is good without it though!
