Actually, no, you don't need WiFi to enjoy the core experience of Animal Crossing. You can happily fish, catch bugs, decorate your island, and live that sweet island life offline. WiFi only becomes necessary if you wanna visit friends' islands or participate in the seasonal events that Nintendo hosts online.

Nope, WiFi not required! You can totally play AC and enjoy most of what it offers without an internet connection. But remember, visiting friends or downloading the cool updates does need WiFi.

WiFi? For catching butterflies and shaking trees? Nah, save it for the big online events and trading turnips with the world!

Honestly, playing without WiFi is missing half the fun. Those updates and visiting friends? Prime AC experience!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
