Do you permanently lose hearts in Tears of the Kingdom?
Nah, you don't permanently lose hearts in Tears of the Kingdom. Just like in previous Zelda games, your hearts will decrease when you take damage, but they're not gone for good! You can refill them by eating food, resting, or using certain items. So, no worries about making a wrong move and being stuck with less health forever!

Actually, losing hearts permanently in Tears of the Kingdom would be a hardcore mode I'd like to see. But no, the game doesn't do you dirty like that. Heal up with some cooked meals, and you're golden!
Big nope! Hearts are not permanently lost. Use items or rest up to get them back. Easy peasy.
