Single-player doesn't need PlayStation Plus, but for co-op fun, you're gonna need it.

Nope, PlayStation Plus isn't necessary if you're playing Borderlands offline. But if you want to team up with friends, then you need that PS Plus subscription.

From personal experience, solo play is a blast without Plus, but for the true Borderlands experience with friends, PS Plus is a must!

If you want to play Borderlands online with friends, then yes, you need PlayStation Plus. If you're just in it for the solo adventure, you're good without it!
