Changing your PSN ID might affect some games, especially older ones. Some titles may have issues with losing progress, DLC, or even trophies. Check the [official PlayStation list](https://www.playstation.com/en-us/network/playstation-network-online-id-change/) to see if your favorite games are affected!

Personal experience here: I changed my PSN ID and only had minor issues with a couple of very old games. Most modern titles won't have any problems at all.

Hot take: Unless you're playing really ancient games, changing your PSN ID should be pretty smooth sailing!

Yep, changing your PSN ID can sometimes mess with game saves and online features. Always back up your data just in case!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
