I've changed my PSN name a couple of times, and Destiny 2 handled it just fine. Everything transferred over without a hitch!

It shouldn't affect much, but make sure to check with Bungie's support page just to be on the safe side.

Changing your PSN name won't mess up your Destiny 2 progress. All your characters, gear, and stats stay intact!
