Yep, Fallout 76 runs on the same engine as Fallout 4. Bethesda tweaked it to support multiplayer functionality, but at its core, it's the same engine that powered those epic quests and settlements in Fallout 4. So if you liked the look and feel of Fallout 4, you'll find a lot of that same goodness in 76, just with more friends!

Honestly, it's the same engine but don't let that turn you off. The game has its own unique charm and feels different enough, especially with all the updates and the new Atlantic City expansion. It's like visiting an old friend who's learned a few new tricks!

Short answer: Yes! Fallout 76 is indeed powered by the same engine as Fallout 4. They made some adjustments to adapt to the online environment, but it鈥檚 the same base engine.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
