Yes, you'll need PlayStation Plus if you want to play Madden 21 online, but offline modes are available without it.

Yup, PS Plus is a must for online play in Madden 21.

You can play offline without PS Plus, but online requires the subscription.

From my experience, yes, you need PS Plus for any online features, but you can still enjoy the game solo without it.
