Yes, the 80GB PS3 can play PS2 games, but only if it's the older model with four USB ports and hardware-based backward compatibility. Newer models of the 80GB PS3 don't support this feature.

I have an older 80GB PS3 and it plays PS2 games like a champ! Just make sure you have that specific model.

Most 80GB PS3s can't play PS2 games. You need to check if it has hardware backward compatibility.

Nope, unless it's the very early version with hardware emulation. Check for four USB ports!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
