Nope, LEGO Dimensions for PS3 won't work on a PS4. The game and its peripherals are not backward compatible.

Unfortunately, you'll have to get the PS4 version to play LEGO Dimensions on your PS4. The two systems aren't compatible with each other's games.

Tried it myself – LEGO Dimensions on PS3 doesn't work on PS4. Save yourself the trouble and grab the PS4 edition.
