Nope, the PS4 doesn’t support 4K UHD for games. But, it does support 4K streaming for apps like Netflix and YouTube.

Sorry, but the PS4 doesn't do 4K UHD for gaming. You'll need a PS4 Pro or a PS5 for that!

Had the same question! Turns out, the regular PS4 can stream 4K content, but you need a PS4 Pro or PS5 for 4K gaming.
