Yep, if you wanna play Rocket League online on PS4 or PS5, you need PlayStation Plus. Gotta get that subscription for all the multiplayer action!

Hot take: Nothing should require an additional subscription to play online, but yeah, Rocket League USED to need PS Plus. Times have changed!

Nope! Since September 2020, Rocket League went free-to-play, and you don't need PS Plus to play it online anymore. Have fun!
