Honestly, getting rid of wanted status is easy: die. I mean, it's not the most glamorous solution, but it works every time. Got tagged as 'wanted' for picking a lock I thought was mine (oops), and a quick duel with a passerby fixed it right up.

Yep, wanted status in Fallout 76 does go away, but you've gotta either bite the dust or wait it out. Dying at the hands of another player clears it, but if you're not in the mood to start a fight, just keep laying low. Patience is a virtue, even in the wasteland!

Dying is the quickest way to clear wanted status. But if you value your loot, just wait it out. It's a good time to explore less populated areas or work on your camp design.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
