They should've just wrapped it up with a pizza party for the Parasites, celebrating their defeat of the Klaxosaurs and Hiro and Zero Two finally getting to enjoy some teenage normalcy. Who doesn't love pizza?

I think the best ending would have been Zero Two and Hiro surviving the final battle, coming back to Earth, and just living a normal, peaceful life. Sometimes simplicity is key, you know?

Wouldn't it have been amazing if Hiro and Zero Two actually got to live happily ever after on Earth instead of, you know, the whole outer space thing? Let's keep it classic Disney-style!

Hot take: The bittersweet ending where Hiro and Zero Two sacrifice themselves was gutsy and perfect. Not every story needs a happily ever after.
