Use the web. Log into your account at store.playstation.com, click on your profile, select 'Subscription Management,' and turn off auto-renewal. Easy peasy!

You can cancel through your PlayStation console or via a web browser. On the console, go to 'Settings,' then 'Account Management,' then 'Account Information,' then 'PlayStation Subscriptions,' and finally 'Turn Off Auto-Renew.'

From personal experience, doing it on the PlayStation app is also straightforward. Go to 'Settings,' select 'Account Information,' and disable 'Auto-Renew.'
