Hot take: Just yell their username into a headset during a full moon. Jokes aside, the 'Add A Friend' feature in the Steam client is your best bet. Make sure you've got their correct Steam username or Friend Code, and you'll find them faster than you can say 'game on'.

Finding friends on Steam is pretty easy! Just click on the 'Friends & Chat' option in the Steam client at the bottom right corner. There, hit 'Add A Friend' and you can search for your buddy's Steam profile name or use their unique Friend Code. Steam's search will do the rest, and you'll be gaming together in no time!

Honestly, I've found that sometimes the username search can be finicky, especially with common names. What worked for me was getting the Friend Code directly from my friend. It鈥檚 like their Steam ID number, super unique, so there鈥檚 no mixing up profiles!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
