Just hit 'A'! Works every time. Whether it's a DIY recipe floating by in a balloon or a cool fossil buried underground, tapping 'A' when you're near the item is your golden ticket.

To pick things up in Animal Crossing, just walk up to the item you want to grab and press the 'A' button. If it's a fruit from a tree, a seashell on the beach, or a lost item on the ground, pressing 'A' will scoop it right into your pockets!

Picking up items? A button. Catching bugs? A button. Life's simple in Animal Crossing, just A it up!

I found this by accident when I first started playing - if it's furniture or something you placed outside by mistake, you gotta enter build mode by pressing down on the D-pad. Then, navigate to where the item is, and press 'Y' to pick it up. Not as straightforward as other items, but a lifesaver for organizing your island.

Honestly, sometimes I wish it was more complicated, but yep, just press 'A'.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
