You can turn off your PS4 by holding down the power button on the console for about 7 seconds until you hear a second beep, or you can go to the power options in the quick menu and select 'Turn Off PS4'. Simple as that!

From personal experience, press and hold the power button on the console until you hear the second beep, or go to the quick menu with your controller and select 'Turn Off PS4' under power options. Either method works great!
