I usually use a vacuum cleaner with a narrow nozzle to suck out dust from the vents. Works like a charm without opening the console!

You don't need to clean your PS4 unless it's overheating. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I opened mine up to clean the fan and heatsinks. It's a bit of a hassle, but it runs so much quieter now. Just be sure to follow a guide!

Turn off and unplug your PS4. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe away dust from the exterior. For the vents, use a can of compressed air to blow out any dust buildup. If you need to clean the inside, you might want to open it up, but this voids the warranty. Be careful!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
