How do you enter passive mode in Fallout 76?
Sorry to break it to ya, but Fallout 76 doesn't actually have a 'passive mode' like some other online games. However, you can kinda create your own version by turning on 'Pacifist Mode' in the game settings. This prevents you from accidentally starting PvP with other players. You'll still see them wandering around, but you won't damage them or vice versa in fights unless you both agree to PvP. So, it's like passive mode's cousin.

No passive mode in Fallout 76, but flipping on Pacifist Mode in settings is pretty much the next best thing. Stops you from accidentally lobbing a grenade at a fellow Vault Dweller's face.
Pacifist Mode is all you got. Works fine for avoiding unwanted PvP. Just remember, it doesn't make you invisible. Mobs will still attack.
