Just let your Switch do its thing! If you're connected to Wi-Fi, your game should update automatically. Sometimes you gotta restart your console if it's being stubborn.

Getting the 2.0 update in Animal Crossing is super easy and straight to the point! Make sure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet. Then, on the Home menu, press + on the Animal Crossing game icon and select 'Software Update,' followed by 'Via the Internet.' The update should start automatically if it hasn't already. Enjoy all the new features once it's done!

Honestly, if you haven't got the update automatically, just check your internet connection. Animal Crossing updates are pretty seamless.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
