Ditto will appear as another Pokémon until you catch it. Only then does the real Ditto show itself!

You can't spot Ditto just by looking! It disguises itself as common Pokémon. Catch 'em all and hope for a surprise reveal.

Look for Pokémon like Pidgey, Rattata, and Zubat. These commonly transform into Ditto when caught.

In my experience, you just have to keep catching Pokémon. Eventually one will turn out to be Ditto. It's a game of patience!
