Picking locks in Fallout 76 is all about having the right perk cards and a bit of patience. First, you gotta make sure you have 'Picklock' perk cards equipped - there are 3 levels, so more difficult locks require higher levels. Then, while at a lock, you use the left stick (or mouse) to adjust the pick's angle and the right stick (or other key) to turn the lock. If the lock turns smoothly, you're in the right spot. If the controller vibrates or you hear a crunch, adjust the pick's position. It's kinda like feeling your way in the dark until the lock clicks open!

Just wiggle that bobby pin around till it feels right, then turn! No science to it, just feels like luck and some patience.

Lockpicking? Overrated. I just smash everything. If the door won't open, find another way in or blast it open. Who needs subtlety in the wasteland?

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
