Using a mineral extractor in Fallout 76 is all about finding the right spot, my friend. First, ya gotta find a resource deposit - you know, those shiny things sticking out of the ground. Once you've claimed a workshop that has one of these deposits, access the building menu and navigate to the 'Resources' tab. Pick the type of extractor that matches your deposit, slap it down on top of that deposit like a cherry on a sundae, power it up with a generator, and voila! Just kick back and let it do its mining thing. Remember, it'll keep churning out resources as long as it's powered, so make sure you defend that workshop from any nosy neighbors wanting a piece of your pie.

Simple. Claim a workshop, place extractor, power it up. Keep it running, defend it. Easy peasy.

Honestly, I just trade for what I need. Extractors are too much of a hassle with defending them and all that. Just hit up a trading post or find a buddy.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
