How does damage from the dragon work in Fallout 76?
The Dragon? Overrated. There are better weapons out there if you're serious about your damage output. Fast fire rate over slow and powerful any day.

It's simple really: The Dragon hurts. A lot. Aim well, shoot once, hide, and reload. Rinse and repeat!
The Dragon in Fallout 76 is a unique black powder rifle that packs a serious punch. It shoots four .50 caliber balls at once but has a slow reload time. The damage from The Dragon is calculated per shot but remember, it fires all four balls in one go. So if your base damage is high thanks to perks, all four balls get that bonus, making it one of the highest single-shot damage dealers in the game. Just make sure your aim is true, because the reload time is brutal!
