It took around 5 years for Hogwarts Legacy to go from 'Accio idea!' to 'It's game time!' Development kicked off in 2018 and wrapped up with the game launching in 2023. Good things take time, especially in the wizarding world.

5 years, give or take. Started in 2018, launched in 2023. Magic ain't fast, folks.

Well, buckle up, Potterheads! Hogwarts Legacy was in the cauldron for quite a spell. Development started back in 2018, making it a magical journey of about 5 years till its release in 2023. Like crafting the perfect potion, good things take time, and this game was no exception!

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
