It really depends on use and maintenance. On average, a PS3 can last around 7-10 years.

Mine lasted about 6 years before I had to replace the hard drive. It's a pretty tough console!

Honestly, it's a bit of a crapshoot. Some last a decade, others not so much. Treat it well and hope for the best!
