5 catacombs and loads of shrines! While not dungeons in the traditional Zelda sense, these catacombs serve as the game's major puzzle and combat challenges. And the shrines? Think of them as mini-dungeons. Happy exploring!

Honestly, if you're counting like in old Zelda games, you're kinda missing the point. Tears of the Kingdom is all about exploration and what you 'find' feels more important than the count. But yeah, there are a few big ones called catacombs, and a ton of mini challenges known as shrines. Enjoy the adventure!

Tears of the Kingdom is epic with its dungeons! Unlike traditional Zelda games, this one doesn't have a set number of 'dungeons' in the old-school sense. Instead, it offers a mix of larger 'catacombs' and smaller 'shrines' scattered throughout Hyrule for you to explore. The focus is much more on exploration and the joy of discovering these challenges rather than ticking off a list. So, while there's no exact number, rest assured there's plenty of dungeon-esque content to keep you busy!

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
