Super rare! Think of it like stumbling upon a unicorn in your backyard. You might get lucky during certain events though.
From my experience, Chimecho is definitely on the rarer side. I've seen maybe one or two in years of playing.
Chimecho is about as rare as finding a shiny Bulbasaur wearing a party hat. Good luck!
