Finding a shiny Pikachu in Pokémon GO is like finding a needle in a haystack, but with a bit of luck, you might just get zapped! Roughly, you have about a 1 in 450 chance during non-event periods.

Shiny Pikachu appears rarely in the wild, with odds typically around 1 in 450. Keep your eyes peeled and happy hunting!

I've caught a few shiny Pikachus during special events and Community Days. Outside those, it's pretty rare—definitely feels like 1 in 450 odds.

Don't overthink it. Shiny Pikachu is rare, but not impossible. Just keep catching those Pikachus!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
