Honestly, I just prefer to wander the Wasteland solo. Teaming up can be more hassle than it's worth sometimes. But if you really wanna, just press 'E', 'X', or 'Square' when asked.

If you're trying to accept a team invite in Fallout 76 and nothing's happening, make sure you're not in the middle of a battle or a conversation with an NPC. The game can be picky about when you can join a team. Save your game, clear the area of threats, and try accepting again. Worked for me when I teamed up for a Scorchbeast hunt.
