Head to the XMB, go to Settings, then Account Management, and finally System Activation. Select the type of content and bam, you're set!

Easy peasy! Just go to Settings > Account Management > System Activation, and choose what type of content you want to activate it for. Done!

I had to do this last week! On your PS3, navigate to Settings > Account Management > System Activation. Select the content type and hit activate. Simple as that!
