Just plug in the second controller using a USB cable and press the PS button. When it pairs, you can unplug it and use it wirelessly!

You don't need a cable! Go to Settings > Accessories > General > Bluetooth Accessories, and then put the controller in pairing mode by holding the PS button and Create button until the light bar starts flashing.
