Adding Chrome to your Steam Deck is like sneaking cookies into a movie theater - not officially on the menu, but totally doable. First up, you'll need to switch your Steam Deck to Desktop Mode. Once there, open the Discover Software Center, search for 'Chrome', and install it. Finally, switch back to Gaming Mode, and you can add Chrome as a non-Steam game through the 'Add a Game' option at the bottom left of your Steam Library. Now, you're surfing the web in style!

Just install it from Desktop Mode. You can find it in the Discover Software Center. Chrome works great on Steam Deck, been using it to browse and watch videos no problem.

Honestly, why bother adding Chrome when the built-in browser works fine? Keep it simple.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
