Super easy! Just go to 'Friends' on your PS4 or PS5, then select 'Search' and type in your friend's PSN ID. Once found, click 'Add Friend'. Happy gaming!

From experience, easiest way: open 'Friends' menu, search PSN ID, add friend. Takes less than a minute!
