Adding sprinting in Roblox Studio is pretty simple! Just script a function that increases the player's walk speed when they press a specific key (like 'Shift'). You'll need to use the UserInputService to detect the key press and modify the Humanoid's WalkSpeed property. Happy sprinting!

Create a LocalScript in StarterPlayerScripts. Use UserInputService to detect when the player presses and releases the sprint key. Then adjust the Humanoid's WalkSpeed accordingly. Pro tip: Don't forget to reset it back to normal when the key is released!

Use UserInputService to detect Shift key and increase Humanoid WalkSpeed. Done.

I did this with UserInputService. Detect the 'Shift' key press and change Humanoid's WalkSpeed to a higher value. Also, make sure to reset it when the key is released. Worked perfectly in my game!

If you're a Roblox player looking for extra robux, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the Roblox gift card, which you can win and use to get robux essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
