How to Add Your Own Audio on Instagram
To add your own audio to Instagram Stories or Reels, first create the audio file and then upload it. For Stories, you can record audio directly in the app. For Reels, you can either record in-app or use a pre-recorded audio file by adding it through the 'Audio' option when editing.

Open Instagram, go to the Reels section, and tap on the audio icon. You can then select or upload your own audio file!
I tried it myself: just swipe right to open the Stories or Reels camera, record your video, and add your own narration or music by tapping the music note icon. Easy peasy!
You can't directly upload your own audio on Instagram like a song. Instead, you have to create a video with your audio and upload that video to Stories or Reels.
