To enable the console in XCOM 2, head to Steam, right-click XCOM 2, select Properties, and in the Launch Options, add '-allowconsole'. The tilde key (`~`) will then open the console in-game!

For those on a Mac, you need to add '-allowconsole' in the game's Launch Options through Steam. Use the `~` key to access it!
