First, you'll need a bachelor's degree in food technology, agriculture, or a related field. Then, you can apply for the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) or other state-level exams. Ace those, and you're on your way to inspecting chapatis and curries!

Get a degree in food science or similar and pass the required exams. I did it with a Bachelor's in Food Technology, then cleared the FSSAI exams.

Get a degree in food science, agriculture, or similar. After that, pass the FSSAI or state-level exams. Easy peasy (sort of).

Just get a science degree and pass the relevant exams. Done.
