Breaking weapons in Fallout 76 ain't rocket science but it sure can feel like it if you're new to the wasteland! Just use your weapon. A lot. Every time you shoot, swing, or slam that weapon against the monstrous residents of West Virginia, it wears down. Keep at it, and eventually, that durability bar goes to zero, and boom, broken weapon. Want to speed up the process? Find yourself battling the toughest critters out there, and your gear will wear down much faster. Just remember, a broken weapon is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, so keep an eye on that durability and have repair materials handy!

Honestly, just keep using it. Weapons in Fallout 76 degrade over time with use, so the more you use it, the faster it'll break. No need to do anything special, just business as usual in the wasteland.

Why would you wanna break it on purpose? Just repair it and keep it going strong!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
