Unfortunately, you can't directly gift a game on PSN. But, you can buy a PlayStation Store gift card and send them the code!

Yeah, gifting games directly isn't a thing on PSN, but just grab a PSN gift card, and your friend can pick out what they want.

Trust me, I've done this! Buy a PSN gift card from any major retailer or online, then give your friend the code to redeem. Easy!
