To calibrate your PS3 controller, first turn off the console and connect the controller to it using a USB cable. Then press the PS button to sync and calibrate. Easy peasy!

I've got you! All you need to do is turn off your PS3, connect the controller via USB, turn it on, and press the PS button. It should sync right up.
