Just contact PlayStation Support – they usually handle pre-order cancellations super quickly. Done this a few times, and it’s pretty painless!
On your PS5, head to the PlayStation Store, navigate to your Library, and find 'Purchased.' There, you should see the game you pre-ordered and can cancel it from there.
Here's my hot take: If you have to ask how to cancel, maybe you shouldn't be canceling at all. Impulse buys are sometimes the best buys!
