Just walk away. Seriously, if you Accio something and then think, 'Oops, wrong move,' simply walking away does the trick. The object you summoned with Accio will drop after a certain distance, so it's kind of a manual cancel.

There's no 'cancel button' for spells in Hogwarts Legacy, including Accio. Spells do their thing until they're done. Best you can do is try something else to distract from the oopsie.

You can't exactly 'cancel' Accio in the traditional sense once you've cast it, since spells in Hogwarts Legacy are designed to complete their action once initiated. However, you can usually cast another spell or move to interrupt the flow, essentially 'canceling' the ongoing spell effect in practice. So, if you Accio something and immediately don't want it coming your way, try moving or casting another spell!

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
