Build the Proving Ground and research the Skulljack. Once you have it, get close to an alien and use the Skulljack for a capture. Boom!

You gotta use the Arc Thrower to stun them and then use a soldier with the Skulljack to hack them. Success rate isn't 100%, so good luck!

I've successfully captured aliens by first damaging them to lower their health, then stunning them with the Arc Thrower. It takes some practice!
