So, the PS3 doesn't support casting natively. To stream media, you basically need to use a DLNA-compliant server on your PC. Programs like Universal Media Server or Plex do the trick. Once it's running, your PS3 should see it as a media server under 'Video'.

You can't directly cast to a PS3 like you can with newer devices. Instead, you have to use a media server app like PS3 Media Server or Plex. Set up the media server on your PC, then connect your PS3 to the same network and access the server from the PS3's XMB (XrossMediaBar) under 'Video' or 'Music'.

No easy casting on PS3. Set up a DLNA server on your PC and access it through the PS3's media menu.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
