Catching a Barreleye in Animal Crossing: New Horizons requires patience and a bit of luck! These rare fish can be found in the ocean, so grab your fishing rod and head to the beach. Here's the key: Barreleye are available all year round, but they only appear from 9 PM to 4 AM. Make sure you're fishing during these hours! Look for a small shadow in the water; that's your clue. Keep at it, and eventually, you'll snag this elusive fish. Best of luck, and happy fishing!

Actually, you don't need to stress over catching a Barreleye too much. They're rare, yeah, but popping up all year means you've got plenty of chances. Fish after dark, chill, and sooner or later, you'll get lucky. Worked for me after a few nights!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
