Catching a char in ACNH? You gotta know where and when! Char are pretty picky fish that only show up in rivers (especially at the clifftop ones) and in the pond on top of your island. You can catch them from March through June and then again from September through November if you're in the Northern Hemisphere. Flip those months if you're in the Southern Hemisphere. They're most active between 4 pm and 9 am – so, yeah, you might have to mess up your sleep schedule a bit for these guys. Use your fishing rod near the waterfall areas for a better shot. And remember, patience is key; these fishies can be a tad rare.

Just fish on the mountain rivers or the highest pond. Char are there. Also, they love early mornings or evenings.

Honestly, Char fishing is overrated. Go for the Sturgeon or Oarfish. Way cooler and worth the effort IMO.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
